Bouclé in Ash
A bouclé rug in undyed grey jute, woven on a loom and finished by hand.
Bouclé is the most dimensional of DAVSU's three constructions. A looped pile that reads as architectural texture. Woven on a loom and finished by hand, the technique carries cleaner edges and wider formats than the other two constructions, so Bouclé holds DAVSU's broadest range of sizes.
Material: 100% jute
Construction: Loom woven, finished by hand
Color: Ash (undyed grey)
Origin: Bangladesh
Ash is undyed. Its grey tone develops naturally when raw jute is submerged in dark clay water over an extended period. Tone varies slightly between lots.
Vacuum without a beater bar. Spot clean with a dry cloth. Rotate seasonally to even wear.
